Still Valerie’s POV

Janelle called and took me out of the house, and we met with a few of her friends along the way. They are werewolves too, I can smell it on them. I’ve never had time to meet with these girls, I practically spend all my time at work and in school. Who would’ve ever thought that I would still be fired after putting in so much effort in that damn job. I wish I’d never worked there in the first place, I wish I never crossed paths with Alpha Maverick.

I think I’m the only one who thinks the Alpha is a jerk. Every other girl here...
