Chapter 3 Meeting my Owner

Chapter 3 Meeting my Owner

Scarlett’s POV

For a Werewolf to get drunk, they had to drink a lot, although Omegas didn’t usually have the same resistance as Alphas did, except me. No matter how much whiskey I drank, I was never able to get drunk. I refilled my glass with the sweet amber liquid to try to calm my nerves a little. I didn’t know who was going to walk through the door or what kind of person bought me, and so I drank almost an entire bottle to calm my nerves enough before they came in to meet me.

I looked at my surroundings again. The office was small with medieval-styled decor. Dark wood furnishings with golden accents. The floor was covered in a soft carpet woven in shades of dark red and black. There was a desk, two armchairs, a sofa, and two bookcases. To the left, there was a window adorned with red and black curtains.

I was given, on request of my new owner, lacy black lingerie to wear under a semi-transparent dress taylored of a sheer fabric in shades of purple and blue. I wore a pair of black high heels, which complemented the outfit perfectly. My God! Will I ever get used to calling him “My Owner”? It's so strange to me that I could hardly say the word out loud.

I looked out the window and took another deep breath. Part of me wanted to run away and forget everything that happened… And the other part of me wanted to stay to see what would happen next. I've been through so much to get here, surely this desire to run away must be completely and utterly natural?

My heartbeat became more erratic, and my breathing became more labored. I walked over to the window and leaned my head against the cool glass, closing my eyes and taking a few more deep breaths to try and calm myself. I needed to pull myself together. It was my own choice to be here, after all. I had to keep going and see it through to the end.

After a while, the door opened, and I turned my head to see who came through the door. I was about to meet the person who bought me and made that final bid. I took one last deep steadying breath and put my best smile on my face, trying to appear confident and sure of myself, but, instead of only two people entering, there were three.

Oliver Higgins was the first to enter. His aura and posture has always been quite intimidating, but that was what helped me through the auction. He was the man who had made the scene at the time of the sale. He was in charge of the entire process, from assessing the potential buyers, drawing up the contracts, and making the visits, and I trusted him.

Two men entered behind Oliver. One had very well-cut black hair, intense caramel eyes, thin lips, and a square jaw. He was wearing a perfectly tailored gray suit. The other had light brown hair that reached down to his shoulders, dark blue eyes, fuller lips, and a less square jaw. He was wearing a more casual outfit consisting of dress pants, a black shirt, and black sneakers.

Two very different men, but their auras were very similar. Alphas. Usually, Omegas would bow down before them, but I didn't have that tendency and kept my head held high with a smile on my face. I was scrutinized from top to bottom to see whether I was worth the price they paid. Judging by the look of lust in their eyes, they must have been satisfied with what they saw. What I found more striking though, was their smiles, giving off a sense of superiority. If it were me, at any other time, I wouldn't have appeared in front of anyone like that.

"Miss 662, what do you think of the amount you achieved?" Oliver asked me, as he walked around the desk and sat down.

"I’m not disappointed," I replied simply, not daring to look away from the two Alphas standing before me.

"Good. These are your buyers." Oliver opened his laptop and began to complete the contract information for all parties to sign.

"It will be an honor to serve you." I smiled and bowed briefly.

"Are you sure you'll be able to make it to the end of the five days?" The brown-haired man asked.

"Why wouldn't I?" I raised an eyebrow at him and refrained from rolling my eyes.

"Because you're staring at them, when the contract clearly states that you're willing to play the role of a sub," Oliver replied.

I chuckled so quietly that it was almost inaudible.

"The contract hasn't been signed yet. From the second it is, I'll fulfill my role." I leaned against the window, starting to feel a little sleepy from all the day’s events.

"Anyway. Gentlemen, if you're not satisfied, the contract may be terminated at any time," Oliver spoke and soon the sound of the printer was heard as the contract was printed.

The room went quiet and only the sound of papers echoed. There were three copies of the contract; One for me, one for the house, and one for my buyers. I took the copy Oliver held out to me and started reading the information.

For safety, security and confidentiality reasons, all personal information of all parties involved, were replaced with code names, but the contract would remain valid. I read each page carefully. As I mentioned before, I wasn’t innocent, and I knew what was expected of me and what I expected in return. I noted that the part covering the fetishes allowed hadn't been changed, and it seemed that my buyers were happy with my conditions.

‘Okay.’ I thought to myself. If I was going to back out, now would be the time to do it. Once I signed the contract, there would be no turning back. I would lose everything if I did. Did I want to back out? My owners appeared to be pleasant enough people, and their good looks were definitely an added bonus. I was no expert in judging people's characters, but these Alphas didn't appear to be too bad.

I took a deep breath, picked up the pen, and signed on the indicated dotted lines on all three copies of the contract. The moment the last signature was made, I lowered my gaze to the floor and changed my posture to that of a sub. From now on, I will play the role I was expected to play. The drama lessons I attended would serve me well for the next 5 days.

"Um…" I heard the second man's voice very close to me and then felt his touch on the left side of my face.

I kept my gaze down and didn’t flinch. I noticed that the other man had stepped around to stand behind me. He swept my hair away and put a collar around my neck. I still didn't move. I had, after all, not been ordered or granted permission to speak or move.

I learned as much as I could about the BDSM-world and about what was expected of me as a sub. What the posture of a submissive should be when they are slaves, or brats, to name a few sub-positions among others. In my case, I had just signed a submissive or slave contract, which meant that I was at the mercy of my owners’ orders.

"Interesting... Very interesting..."

It was the first time that I heard the black-haired Alpha’s voice. It had a husky tone to it, it was also stronger and more intense. I resisted the urge to shudder, turn my head to face him, to smile at him wryly and tell him that he had underestimated me, but I couldn’t. Not yet, anyway.

"Come on, pet." The brown-haired man said, and then pulled on the collar for me to move forward. I started walking, looking at the ground and trusting them to lead me.
