Liam's POV

I saw Klaus move to stand behind Scarlett's back and already knew what he was waiting for, so I pulled away just a little, took her hand and helped her to her feet. Klaus pushed the chair away and I turned Scarlett toward him. My friend's expression was so serious, but the gleam of satisfaction in his eyes was clearly visible.

'Was Scarlet able to see that look?' I thought to myself.

"Kneel." Klaus ordered in a low, husky voice and I saw Scarlett’s body shiver slightly in anticipation.

The part of her that wants to disobey made its appearance as she purposefully took a few seconds longer...
