Scarlett’s been in hospital for four hours now, so of course we were responsible for her. I told the hospital staff that I was her boyfriend and filled in all the paperwork. They did some blood tests, she had a serious infection, they still couldn’t isolate the reason why.

Of course, no one would argue with two Alphas, but I understand that they have medical and patient confidentiality, so I lied about being her boyfriend.
