Emily's POV

The day dragged on, after the eventful Mrs O'Connor. I rejected Damon's lunch offer, so he went ahead without me.

As I sat alone, in his office, staring at where he used to be, I wondered what was really going on with the both of us.

“Let's go home.” He said as he entered.

It was still midday, well, some minutes after.

The main man, the client who was coming in from the UK hadn't arrived yet, and he was planning to close.
