“Then tell me why your watch is not in your hand? Did you get busy? Was it in your way of doing something? Why did you take it off? Oh, or is my ring gonna start bothering you anytime soon too? Would you like to take that too off?” I was so pissed, and already failing at keeping my cool.

“I visited Dathan earlier in the day.” She swallowed hard. “I must have left it there.”

“Is that a probability or you're sure you did?” I asked her.

“I'm sure I did.” Emily replied.
