“I'm so sorry I had to wake you up. But it couldn't wait. It just couldn't wait.” Freda’s voice interrupted my sleep

I checked the wall clock opposite my bed, it was a few minutes past ten am. I'd barely slept for an hour. My head was banging and felt too heavy to hold up.

I wanted to turn to the other side and keep on catching my sleep,

I had trouble falling asleep and had no intent on being woken up.
