“Why does my head hurt?” Melody groaned as she sat up on Rebecca's bed, holding her head with her hands.

“You had too much to drink last night. You are having a hangover. Here” Rebecca stretched out a glass of water and pills to Melody.

“Thanks” with a sigh, Melody drank the pill. She squeezed her face in disgust at the taste of the medicine before quickly washing it down with water.

Rebecca received the glass of water and kept it on the bedside table. She turned to peer at Melody's face with furrowed brows, checking to see if Melody would ask why she felt hot yesterday.
