The town was small, so the news spread round quickly and soon that was what everyone was talking about. Still no one except for the police knew the whole story, so everyone was just giving their opinion and speculating.

A woman whose husband was a police officer began to disturb her husband for the full story, threatening to put him in the dog house if he refused to tell her what happened. Since the husband did not want to be put in the dog house, he told her the entire story and within an hour, the whole town had heard what happened.
