The doctors had to check on her again, I warned them to be careful and not wake her up, Violet was too tired to wake up, the whole treatment had drained her. By the time they finished their check-up, I was busy holding her, bouncing her around, taking in her scent, landing a few kisses on her chubby cheeks.

"Sir, the treatment has fully worked, she's not in any danger, she just needs you now," one of the doctors say, making me take a breath in relief.
