Zachary was engrossed in his work, failing to hear the sounds of the rain which was falling torrentially. The thunder struck loudly and he stopped what he was doing immediately.

"Is it raining?" He wondered, getting to his feet. He walked to the window to find everywhere so dark with the rain pouring heavily, no one in his right sense would risk entering the rain.
