"Everything seems to be in order, I think in a couple of weeks we should go and get an ultrasound to make sure there aren't any complications that I might've missed. But it all seems good. No worries."

Lizzy smiles at me, "Thank you, Mia. You know it's nice having another female around. A lot of my friends have found their mates in other packs. So I can sometimes get quite lonely."

I smile, "I have the same problem. I lived alone in a cottage deep in the woods."

She frowns, "Where was your pack?"

I smiled at her gently, "Probably a story for a different day."
