Book TWO ( chapter one)

Authors note: hello guys thank you for reading through book one of " HEART'S FIRE and now, welcome to the next level of the story, book two of "HEART'S FIRE".

Here more characters will be seen and after many battles, Lisa will have to choose between going back to her previous life or her present Life, can she chose between the man who saved her family from bankruptcy ( Alvin Fisher) or the man who saved her life the day, Mr. Ajay shot and tossed her body at the bottom of the lake, a business tycoon who had no once in his life other than his seven-year-old child. "Byran Lowell" and his son " Chad Lowell".

Now she goes with a new identity, Yulan Lowell, the wife to Byran Lowell, oops sorry, another contract relationship.

(STORY)

It's been five years, and I haven't stop anticipating seeing the one who killed me in cold blood.

Because of me, Bryan decided to go into business with the devil himself, Mr. Ajay.

Bryan walks me into the company of he, I wished to see, and there he was, seated with a huge smile.

"Mr. and Mrs. Lowell". He smiles and galas his eyes aback and met me, "good day ma'am" Mr. Ajay pulls out his hand and I noticed something different, "Mr. Ajay, are you okay?". I asked and watched him lie his way through.

"Yes please, I am fine, it's just that, you remind me of someone I lost years ago". ( And by that, he meant the same person, murdered in cold blood by him)

I know who he meant and decided to dance to the song begin played by him, "oh really, who if I may ask?".

A cloud of dullness illuminates around, Bryan caught the games I was busy playing and stands me down by changing the subject.

"How about we talk business?". Eyes linked to mine, he lets out to both of us, Mr. Ajay quickly accepted his suggestion and moved to his chair, while his eyes loom suspiciously.

I know how farther his thoughts must have driven away, all because of a particular someone, who he cannot possibly understand if she was the one or not, and I am sure, he's going to try something foolish to get a hint.

Still seated, Bryan talks for over an hour about business with Mr. Ajay, I listened to every detail and when my opinion was being needed, Bryan asked for it.

"Oh wow, how lovely". He ( Mr. Ajay) decides to smirk at the secen going on if only he knows what lies behind the curtain.

"What is lovely, Mr. Ajay?". I asked and made sure there was no atom of excitement in my voice, based on the hard look on, he rephrases his words and gulped down the left statement hanging to come out as well. ( Frowns)

"This will be one hell of a drama"

( That's my head talking)

( BACK HOME; LOWELL'S MANSION)

Bryan and I returned home after several hours spent at the restaurant with Mr. Ajay, Chad took a glimpse of us from his room and ran over.

"Good evening mom, good evening dad?"

He pushed us in for a group hug, "good evening my son, why are you still awake?". Bryan falls to his height and I stood at the side listening.

So he says ( Chad) " nothing dad, I wanted to see you both home, before going to bed"  in his child-like attitude, he lets out to us, and before you think anything!!! No? Chad isn't my biological son, his only a part of the contract I made with his father to become his mother and in return, he gets me a sweet taste of revenge on Mr. Ajay.

Chad is a sweet boy thus, whatever relationship I share with his father is nothing but a compromise and when everything is set and down, I'll have to leave and go back to my previous life, with my family and together once again with Alvin. ( Weak smile as the Chapter ends)
