Good evening mum Charlie greeted on entering into the living room.

Evening Charlie Mrs Tabitha replied. How was work? Are you tired? Do you need a massage? She questioned further.

Mum...why the sudden care? Do you need a favor? Cause i don't seem to understand this concern of yours Charlie muttered.

What do you mean by that Charlie, I've always being the caring type, do you want me to prepare your bathe? Just list what you want I'll gladly tell the maid to do so she uttered.

Mum, just tell me what you want, spit it out, if it's something within my reach i will do it He assured. Good evening Dad he greeted on spotting Mr Lolly Petty.

Evening son, have you eaten? Daniella get Charlie something to eat He instructed the maid.

I don't seem to get what you and mum are up to, you're both behaving strangely Charlie pointed out.

Why would you say that Charlie, what ever we do, we do it to ensure that our sons have a better life, there's no other motive aside that Mrs Tabitha explained.

Daniella ran into the living room with the water Mr Lolly petty hurriedly collected the glasses of water and handed it over to his wife who guessed it down speedily.

Mum, I'm really sorry, I'm just finding out, i never knew you were having health complications, forgive me Charlie apologized.

Mum is not mad at you son, i want what's best for you Mrs Tabitha replied, just get married to this girl and everything including my health will return to normal, I'm afraid to say this but my health got worse because of your playboy attitude she added.

I'm sorry mum, I've failed you Charlie shuttered, I'll marry this girl for peace to reign. Now you're talking Mrs Tabitha jumped to her feet and hugged him tightly.

I have to return home, it's late already Charlie stated and pecked his mum and dad before heading out.

Our plan worked Mr Lolly Petty jubilated giving his wife and high five and they burst into laughter.

Charlie actually bought that little acting of ours Mrs Tabitha replied laughing out her heart.

Honey i think we should try acting some more in the future, it really look good on us Mr Lolly petty opined.

Our contract is sealed, $120 million is loading Mrs Tabitha screamed happily.

Daniella get us Champagne and three glasses, we all ought to celebrate this achievement and her husband nodded in agreement.

Ma'am here is the champagne Daniella said handing it over to Mrs Tabitha who popped it open and screamed on top of her lungs 'Deal sealed'.

Mum, the moment Lamela refuses to agree to this arrangement, you have to feign seizure, you know how your health matters to her Mrs Camella stated.

I've heard you, this is the fifth time you are repeating this Granny Tessy replied.

What are we celebrating? Lamela's voice cut them off and they all assumed a posture. Mum, dad...granny. Someone should answer my question Lamela demanded.

You mean you don't know our anniversary date? What kinda question is that Mrs Camella replied angrily.

Don't blame me mum, you guys are always celebrating anniversaries, remember that last week we celebrated the anniversary of when you both had your first kiss...

Monday, we celebrated your first hug anniversary Lamela explained, so it's not my fault if I'm confused.

We are celebrating nothing Lamela Mr Duventus replied, we just wanted to treat you to some sweet delicacies right mum? He asked granny Tessy

Of course, i had the maid prepare everything just the way you like it Granny Tessy assured.

If that's the case, I'll gladly eat. Oh my God turkey Lamela exclaimed you all are the best. She took a seat and began devouring the different delicacies stationed before her.

I'm so gonna have tooth ache by morning and throw up countlessly Lamela added.

You've to slow down a little Mela, we aren't dragging the food with you Mrs Camella stated with a warm smile so as not to offend her.

That will be great Lamela exclaimed, Granny have Nanny Lucy refrigerate some of the food against tomorrow morning Lamela demanded.

What's going on here? Lisa cut her mum off, i was perceiving the aroma of sauced egg from my room and traced it down here, is there a celebration going on? Lisa asked

No kid sis, they actually decided to treat me to some mouth watering dishes Lamela replied. You can join me, i don't mind sharing.

What are you doing here Lisa, you should be in your room Mrs Camella mumbled

Relax mum, are you scared I'm gonna say something Lisa replied winking at her mum.

Sister Lamela, when mum decides to treat you to some meal, then you have to know that something must be wrong Lisa stated

I don't like accusations Mrs Camella fumed, get lost Lisa, your attention is not needed.

Lisa darling Mr Duventus began, don't you think you should be asleep by now, it's past eleven.

You hear yourself dad, it's past eleven meaning we should all be sleeping not treating my sister to some delicacies simply because you want a favor from her lisa fired at her Dad.

Lisa get out Mrs Camella yelled i hate repeating myself.

Lisa how do you know they need a favor? Lamela asked

That's mum's strategy, she treats you to some mouth watering dishes and then drop the bombshell in the middle of it Lisa explained.

Mum, is Lisa right? Do you need a favor? If yes you should have said it instead of passing through this stress just to please me Lamela muttered

The cutleries fell from Lamela's hands. What kind of expensive joke is this? Lamela yelled

You don't have to love him, just get married to him and help your parents seal this contract Granny Tessy advised.

Mum...are you becoming a motivational speaker overnight? Lisa asked giggling and earned a glare from Mrs Camella.

Lamela stopped on her track and spotted granny Tessy on the floor.

Granny... She muttered and ran to granny Tessy's body laying helplessly on the floor.

Granny i beg of you, don't leave me okay? Lamela demanded in tears. Call the doctor she ordered, we musn't lose her.

The doctor won't be able to make it, it's late Mr Duventus replied

Lisa returned with the fan and handed it over to Lamela.

Aren't you a doctor, do something Lamela fired at Lisa

Of course i am, you all should step back she uttered and squatted beside Granny Tessy feeling her body temperature.

Her heart is beating normally, she's breathing normally as well Lisa thought unless this is all and act. She pinced Granny Tessy who creased her brows in the process. This is an act Lisa thought and chuckled, her eyes met with that of her mum who glared at her signalling her to play along.

There was an irregularity in her breathing Lisa stated, she'll be fine.

Lisa stormed out of the dining room to the closest restroom and burst into laughter. My sister is dumb she exclaimed.

Grandma...Lamela muttered

Yes dear Granny Tessy uttered slowly

Grandma...Lamela Hugged her happily. Are you cold? Are you hurting? She asked all in one breathe.

I'm fine Lamela, your stubbornness brought this upon me Granny Tessy muttered.

Sorry Grandma Lamela replied making a cute puppy face.

Just marry the C.E.O and I'll suffer no irregularities in the future Granny Tessy stated.

I'll marry him if that will make you happy Lamela replied and hugged her granny tightly.

Yes...deal sealed Mr Duventus and his wife jubilated running around the house like two teenagers in love.
