Jeon Jungkook

Jeon Jungkook

The dark alleys of Seoul at night is not new to me anymore. In fact, I can make a run for it with my eyes closed. I leaned on the wall, not minding the cold that instantly hit my back even though I have a leather jacket with me. I took the last hit from the cigarette before throwing it down the wet floor. I stepped on it causing for the light on the stick to fully disappear.

As I was about to take a deep breath, I noticed a new figure from the side of my eye. Without hesitation, I immediately pulled out my gun, and pointed it to whoever it was that popped up.

"Would you mind putting your gun down?" It's Seokjin hyung. "Jeez, JK." He walks to me, and immediately stopped just a few steps away when he noticed the dead body on the other side.

"Who the fuck did you kill now?" He asked, not surprised though, but a bit disappointed I guess.

I placed my gun back from where I pulled in earlier. I stood straight, and took a quick glance of the dead body before looking straight at Seokjin.

"Just no one." I shrugged.

"Since when did you become a serial killer?" He rose a brow at me. "You know what, don't even answer that."

"He has an unpaid debt." I say. "You know what we do to them."

"Should have asked one of our men to do this instead." He sighed.

"I'm bored, hyung." I smiled like a child then.

Seokjin, and I started walking away from the area. The night wind is cold, I think it's almost winter. But, I don't really know, as I don't really give a shit about the seasons of the Earth.

We finally arrived at the mansion that the seven of us lived in. It's like a dorm, except that it isn't. This is where me, and my hyungs grew up after being adopted by the parents we grew up with. I can't really remember, but they told me that I was the last that adopted, and I was really young back then. A toddler, I suppose.

"Where have you guys been?" Namjoon asked the moment Seokjin, and I entered the kitchen.

Namjoon hyung was sitting at the counter with his book, as always. In front of him is Yoongi hyung who is cooking I don't know what but it definitely smells good.

"Just had fun." I grinned, causing for Namjoon to raise his brow at me before going back to his book.

"Where are the others?" Seokjin asked while looking at the fridge.

I then focused on myself, not minding the sound around. I peeled a banana before sitting down at the end of the counter, just a seat away from Namjoon.

My brothers tends to be talkative sometimes, especially here in the kitchen. This place is like the comfort zone for all of us. This is where we can gather together, leaving the businesses we have outside. This is also the only place where I fully put my guards down as the people in here are my most trusted one.

Namjoon hyung is the one handling our business in the pharmaceutical field. I mean, he's got an IQ of 148, so he is fucking smart. Like really smart that I envy how his brain works. He graduated with a medical course, our parents asked him, and he did. I know that he wanted it too. I remember on our younger days where he will ask for books that are quite advanced for our age.

Seokjin hyung is currently a doctor, a Cardiologist to be exact. They say that he is the best in South Korea in that medical field. I'm pretty sure that he is, heck the hospitals in here wanted to hire him so bad. But of course, he chose the hospital that our parents owned, that is managed by Namjoon hyung as well. Our parents wanted Seokjin to handle the hospital, but he refused saying that he wants to focus on the patients, and the Operating Room.

Yoongi hyung is managing a music label right now. It's something that surprised all of us, even our parents. I'd say that it is not on the plan that our parents mapped out for him, but they supported him. Seeing that Yoongi worked hard to establish the music label without asking that much help from our parents.

Hoseok hyung, or Hobi hyung when less serious is managing the music label with Yoongi hyung. They both liked music, and creating it. Hoseok is a literal sunshine for all of us due to his attitude of always smiling, and being happy whatever the fuck is happening. He knows when to be serious though. He is also the person that I run to when things are clouded in my head.

As for me, Jimin, and Taehyung, we took over the dark side of the family business. At first, all of our hyungs are against it, saying that it is dangerous for us. I think they forgot that we're all mafia trained. Our parents made sure that we are trained as we live in the dark side of life. Even though that is the case, they tried their best to give us a good childhood. I will say that they did great, as all of us are close and ready to protect each other. Our real parents may have left us, but they picked us up, and treated us like their own.

Actually, we all have our parts in this dark side business that our parents left us. All of us are involved, but it's always Jimin, Taehyung, and I who works on it. Especially the deals that needs to be done. Sometimes, it's our hyungs who do the work, but it depends.

Our parents died from an ambush 3 years ago, there's not a day that we don't miss them. I miss our Mom, especially the way on how she takes care of us. I swear to God, I will make those people pay once we find them, those people who killed our parents.

Finally, Yoongi hyung is done cooking our dinner. It's always him or Seokjin hyung who cooks for us. Yes, we do have some helpers around, but we prefer eating what our brothers cooks, cause who knows if those people would like to kill us via food poison?

I helped Seokjin to set the table for dinner. We're almost done setting up when Jimin, and Taehyung entered the kitchen. Both of their outfits were splashed with blood everywhere.

"Who the fuck did you two kill?" Seokjin hyung asked, it was like a deja vu from earlier when he asked me the same.

"Nothing important, hyung." Jimin answered.

"At least get cleaned up before eating." Yoongi hyung complained when he saw their messy clothes.

Jimin just shrugged before taking off his clothes, and throwing them in the trash bin. Taehyung did the same, I let out a small laugh as I watch them do it.

They took their seat at the table, and we all started eating. It was quiet at the start, until Hobi hyung came in. He's wet, and a bit distressed. He also has some scratches on his face, a few that is bleeding, and a few with already dried blood..

"What the fuck happened to you?" Yoongi hyung asked before anyone did.

Hoseok took a deep breath before taking off his leather jacket, and placing it on the counter.

"My motorcycle crashed." Hoseok simply said as he sit down on his chair.

"Are you injured?" Namjoon asked.

"I'm fine." Hoseok shrugged. "Nothing that Seokjin hyung can't handle." He smiled at Seokjin.

Seokjin turned to Hoseok who is smiling widely at him.

"I'm a Cardiologist." Seokjin says, more like reminded.

"Aww, come on, hyung." Hoseok pouted.

Seokjin just rolled his eyes before letting out a sigh, meaning that he would treat Hoseok's injury.

After dinner, I headed out to our pool with another stick of cigarette with me. I was about to light it up when it was taken away from my lips, I watched it at it flew right into our pool. I immediately turned my head to see that it was Taehyung.

"What the fuck?" I rose a brow, placing my lighter back on my pocket.

"You know Mom hates it when you smoke." He tells me, his eyes locked on the cigarette stick that is currently floating on our pool.

"You're getting me another stick." Is the only thing I managed to say.

Mentioning our Mom still sends a pang to my chest, and I don't think that it will go away anytime. I was close to my Mom, I loved her so much that I almost lost my sanity when she died from that ambush. She didn't deserved to be kill like that.

"I miss Mom." I say, not hiding the sadness in my tone.

"We all do, JK." Taehyung tells me. "Mom was the kindest."

Silence took over, until I decided to speak up again.

"How are the deals with the Luciano family?" I asked.

"Still on the works."

"How long do they plan on negotiating with us?" I sighed.

"They're conflicted as the Cassano family is already with us." Taehyung says. "Everyone knows that they've been rivals since God knows when."

"Well, the Cassanos is obviously more powerful, and useful than the Lucianos." I say.

"What are you saying, JK?" Taehyung asked, really confused.

"We can just kill the Lucianos, and takeover their group."

"Since when did you become a serial killer?"

"Since their betrayal."

Taehyung just gave me a confused look. I'm not sure if he is outdated, or if he just forgot what the Lucianos did to us. We all know that they are the one responsible for the ambush that killed our parents, we know that they've been doing shit behind our backs. We just didn't take action yet because we want to see what other stupid things they would do, or just them being stupid.

"We could have just killed them all years ago." Taehyung finally caught up.

"We still don't know why they killed our parents."

"Do we even still need to know why?"

I'm not really sure how will I answer to Taehyung's question. Getting any answers won't bring our parents back, why do I still even want to know? I think this is just me adding more fuel to the fire that I've been keeping since the day I found out that they were the ones responsible for the death of the people who took us in as their own.

"You know what, let's just kill them." Taehyung says. Which literally surprised me as he is the one who doesn't prefer that much violence among us. It will usually be Jimin, or Yoongi hyung. My eyes literally went huge when I heard that suggestion from him.

Among the seven of us, Taehyung is the most quiet, almost looks like doesn't give a shit about anything. He would just usually stay at the back, and do less talking. He's more on pulling the trigger of the gun when gets enough, or when he's over it. So him suggesting this right away really surprised me.

"Seokjin hyung will literally smack our heads when they find out." I say.

Our hyungs have been overprotective of us since the ambush. There was a time when they wanted us to leave the dark side of the business, and just stick with the legal ones. But of course, the three of us said no. We refused to leave the business that our Dad trained us into since we were kids, we don't want the family legacy to stop. We want all of them to know that we are the most powerful family in South Korea, and that messing with us is, and will never be an option.

"Call Jimin." I tell Taehyung. "It's party time." I smirked.

Taehyung gave me a mischievous smile, indicating that he already knows what I mean.

The next thing I know, Jimin, Taehyung and I are already on our way to the Lucianos with our guns, and some roses to scatter on their villa once all of them are dead.
