Chapter 12: The Chicken Coop

Sarah walked down a path from the barn, and caught sight of a most unusual enclosure ahead. Within, women were clucking like chickens, and a few were squatting and had intense looks on their faces. Sarah watched, curious, when she saw one of the chicken girls lay an egg. It took Sarah a few moments to realize what she had seen, but as she tried to gather her thoughts, sure enough, another chicken girl had laid her own egg.
