LILY’S POV

‘Oh my goodness…’ The shock of seeing him made my heart nearly fly out of my chest. I lost control as I flinched and my phone unknowingly fell from my grasp. My movements were awkward and embarrassing but quick as I reflexively caught it, preventing it from falling to the floor.

I looked at Noah and a nervous smile made my lips tremble. His sudden presence when we were just talking about him had caught me unawares. He had a baffled expression on his face as he stared at me, wondering what was going on with me. I hope he didn’t hear anything Jane said on the phone...
