The rain had reduced to a drizzle, one that could be walked on without necessarily needing an umbrella. After several minutes on the road, I couldn’t find Robert. After numerous rounds and detours, I had to find a spot to park to get hold of myself because I was crumbling with frustration.
I recalled him saying he was getting close to my place on the phone yet I have driven around every street, every corner, every possible route but couldn’t find him. There was no sign of him anywhere.
