The oven seemed to have beeped. The meat for the salad seemed to have cooked, Scott placed a soft and quick kiss on Fiona's lips before walking towards the oven direction. 

As they both sat down to eat, the whole table was silent. Fiona seemed to have lost her appetite for the food because Scott seemed to be making her nervous.

The moment she was done, he had put the plate back to the sink before emerging back to where she sat.

"You should be able to go back to sleep now right?" Scott questioned and she nodded.
