As Adele and I talked more about the dangers lurking the Alpha ball, I couldn't help but question her more about Fiona before she left for the night. 

"Uhmm, could you tell me more about myself, Adele? It's just that I still can't remember much about my memory after the incident," I asked but her eyebrow furrowed. 

"I need this much information because of the Alpha ball!" I rephrased quickly so she doesn't get skeptical. 

Adele studied me intently, her expression thoughtful. She seemed to understand the urgency behind my request, and her hesitation softened.

"I understand, Fiona," she replied, her voice filled with sympathy. "I can imagine...
