I stood there feeling screwed while I glanced at Fiona's father. They had made me promise them that I was going to be in contact with them and keep them updated on anything but I wasn't exactly doing any of that. 

I watched as Alpha Douglas walked towards us. Guilt settled heavy in my chest as I avoided their hopeful gazes, his words soon echoed in the whole pathway.
