After breakfast with Mom, we sat in the living room, watching movies together. I watched as different emotions played on her face for a few minutes.
"What? What's funny?" She sniffed.
"I always thought I was emotional, but damn, you're worse than me,"
"Shut up, it's a sad movie. Just thirty minutes in and yet it is this sad?" She said with a deep frown. "Maybe you should change it,"
"It has a happy ending, don't worry ma,"
"Even though, the lovers died. At this point, I don't think I can bear to watch anything heartbreaking,"
"Oh," I said with realization and frowned. "I'm sorry, my fault. Comedy then?"...
