"Do you have a lot of things to say if... if you could... talk?" I asked, poking Everleigh's nose. She patted her full stomach and leaned toward me. Then she shook her head.

"You sure?" I asked again.

She nodded.

I leaned on the ground and rested my head on the back of my hand, so it was comfortable. She was resting her head on my chest.

Her reply was really unique. She herself was unique... If it were me, I would've said yes because I was someone who showed affection through words. Everleigh... she, she showed love through both her actions and emotions. Maybe she didn't need her...
