We all left the hospital and stood at the parking lot.

“Thanks for coming.” Eric and I said our goodbyes to both Sonia and Kelvin before they left.

Eric and I entered his car and he drove off.

A few minutes into the drive, I decided to speak my mind, “Why do you stop people from telling me things about my past?” I asked with my gaze fixed on him.

“I don't get you.”

“Stop acting like you don't know what I'm talking about, you always stop people from telling me things about my past. What are you hiding.'' this time I asked in a more serious tone....
