I could hear Catherine's loud voice downstairs, conversing with Elliot. I tried to get what they were saying, but I couldn't.

Tiredly, I stood up from the bed and made my way downstairs. I got downstairs and saw Catherine standing in front of Elliot with a big frown on her face.

I moved my gaze to Elliot and noticed he wasn't bothered about her, rather, he was busy typing on his laptop.
