Kade's men dragged me out of the SUV. They had blindfolded me so I couldn't see anything.

I knew struggling was pointless.

I was aware that I'd just walked into a death-trap but I had to do whatever it took to save the people I love.

"Keep walking." One of the two men growled as he pushed me forward with the nozzle of his gun. "You've caused us a lot of trouble." He hissed in my ear, making me wince.

We'd walked a few paces when I suddenly felt the blind-fold being ripped off. It took a while for my eyes to get adjusted.
