Today was the state competition and this year, it was being held in Miami so we didn't have to wake up earlier to drive there.

Jerome was no longer and alternate because Milton has been very busy with university and working, so Milton thought it would be best if he would become the alternate instead. He loved dancing, but he thought it was best.

In fact, Milton wasn't even able to take today off of work to come down and watch his team perform. He told us he was tempted to quit his job, but he didn't.
