After the Fae warrior takes Xavier, chaos erupts. The creatures move through the transport convoy, killing hybrid guards like they're nothing. The hybrids' supernatural abilities mean nothing against Fae magic.

I pull Riley close, shielding her with my body as we hide behind an overturned vehicle. Around us, other survivors do the same. Human and supernatural mixed together, united in terror.

A hybrid soldier, one who was guarding us minutes ago, stumbles into our hiding spot. He's bleeding, his arm nearly severed. "What are they?" he gasps.
