Two things happened at once that made Lyra’s heart stop.

The clash between the two alphas split the air like thunder, and… Aria fainted.

Other than some of the wolves glancing at her, most of the wolves here weren’t even aware that she had fainted. But Lyra had.

No matter what was about to happen to her father and Lucien, she did not allow her gaze to divert from Aria.
