Rose’s POV:

The weave itself might be gentle when guided with deft fingers, but it was rough when pushed.

And right now, it rushed through Rose with so much force, that she screamed.

Around her, the chamber was dim and, save for the rhythm of Aria’s shallow breathing, it was completely still.

Rose was currently sitting by Aria’s bedside, her trembling hands pressed hard on her forehead. Her skin felt clammy, her face was pale, and right now, as she pushed the weave with more force than she ever had, everything within Rose screamed.

She paused, letting out a deep exhale as she prepared to dive deeper into Aria’s weave....
