The heavenly sensation I was receiving provided me with inexplicable delight, it soothed my soul but placed my emotions at bay and got back.

“Are you truly sure?” I asked nonchalantly, taking a sip of my water.

Displeased with my lack of reaction and distance, she whined, holding her hand out to me.

“Why are you behaving like this?”

But, her question vanished my enlivenment as I slapped her hand away. With my back on her, I mumbled.

“Because your longest yearning doesn't get fulfilled so easily-”

And then my body shivered, gritting my teeth from the frustration.
