Life was such that everyone moved on eventually. 

When Agatha had been in a coma before her death, I had wanted her to do anything that would let us know that she was still with us. I would sit by her side for ours and hold her hand whispering into her ear for her to squeeze my hand even a little. She never did and eventually even the faint pulse that had given us all hope soon stopped.
