She’s Awake.
The ray of sunlight pierced through the window and met my eyes, making me squint them as I turned my head away from the light. I raised my hand to shield my face but I froze when it didn’t budge. Then I opened my eyes.
I was in my room, laying on my bed, my head facing the ceiling. The headache had stopped and my body did not seem to be in pain any longer, but my hands didn’t seem to move.
