Richard couldn't sleep throughout last night. He was so worried about Elizabeth. He kept calling her number but she wasn't picking up her calls. At some point her phone was switched off. That made him more worried as he tried to report her missing but the old Mr. Presley stopped him. 

They can only report her missing after twenty four hours. He told him to calm down. Maybe something happened and she wasn't able to come back. He believes that she is fine. If she does not come back the next morning, they will have to report her as missing.
