The next day, Alexa was coming out of the school building after depositing her children in their class, when she nearly ran into Lionel being held by his driver.

'Mother!' Lionel shouted, letting go of the hand he held and running to Alexa to hug her.

'Oh, my baby!' she said, placing both hands on Lionel's back fondly. Then squatting, she ruffled his hair.'Hope you slept well?'

'I did, mum', he answered, 'but I look forward to sleeping in your bed after you sing lullabies to me or tell me bedtime stories! I miss you so much'.

'I miss you too', she said and found that she actually meant it....
