I was in the middle of a debriefing with my team when my phone buzzed with a message. It was Jake, one of my most reliable agents. I quickly scanned the text, and my blood ran cold.

Jake: Allison, Edward got into a fight with Williams at his villa. Thought you should know ASAP.

I felt a mix of shock and anger rising within me. Edward and Williams? Fighting? This was unbelievable. My first instinct was to storm out and find Edward, but I forced myself to stay calm. I finished the debriefing, though my mind was elsewhere, and dismissed my team.
