Allison's POV.
The evening sky was painted with hues of orange and pink as Edward’s car rolled up to Williams’s mansion. The massive estate stood ahead, guarded by a team of serious-looking bodyguards. I sat in the passenger seat, my heart pounding with anger and frustration. Edward glanced at me briefly before shutting off the engine.
We stepped out of the car, the chill of the evening air biting at my skin. The bodyguards, stationed like sentinels, eyed us with suspicion. Edward took the lead, but I pushed past him, stepping directly in front of the guards. “I need to see Williams,” I said, my voice firm. “It’s important.”
