“I have seen him a couple of times when he came to the clan to speak to me.” Diane told me, finally coming to the realization of how dangerous Lucas could be.

“The question is why does he want to be Alpha of Shadowcrest and why didn't he fight to get it from you guys?”

“Right.” Diane agreed. “We were a small clan with no king so he could have fought us and taken the clan by force. Why didn't he do that?”
