“You're shocked right?” They laughed in my face.

“Well, if you must know, we are in this together.”

“This is a plot by you both?”

“Actually, it was my plan, he promised to help me.” Lucas jeered with a grin, his teeth bared at me.

I glanced at Mascot and I could see he was uncomfortable about what Lucas said. I wanted to know more so I kept asking questions that could trigger that effect on him.

“So this was all your doing?” I asked Lucas.
