‘‘Oh, Richard…’’ I could hear her moaning. ‘‘Don’t! What would you do if someone came over here?’’ Her tone of voice was ragged, but it also had a dissatisfied quality to it.

‘‘Don't worry about it, my love. Everyone is too busy sucking up and blowing smoke up those big shot's asses in the hall…’’ The man's voice was raspy and agitated at the same time. ‘‘Who in their right mind would come here when the weather is like this, huh? Oh my goodness, Ada… I have deeply and profoundly missed you... This is it…...
