Julian approached me with full strides, while Leina froze on her spot, her gaze jumped from me to Julian, then from Julian and then back to me. All heads were turned towards us, and the room suddenly becoming dead silent.

My heart was beating rapidly as I abruptly pushed my hands on the floor to help myself stand up. When I got up, Julian was already standing so close to me, but his eyes were locked on whoever person it was behind me that had tripped me and caused me to fall.
