‘‘W-what?’’ Leina stuttered, and was taken aback by what she heard about Chris, her face paled. ‘‘No… Please, Daniel, tell me she’s lying!’’

Chris gave a slight shake of the head and continued to stare at Leina. ‘‘My name is Chris, not Daniel…’’ He said, and he was trying to show that he was repulsed by her, yet one could sense pity in his eyes at the same time. He looked away from her before he turned around to leave, which made her appear as though she wanted to cry.
