After an hour… the rain finally started to let up, and I watched as Celestine, who had been sitting in front of the fire, got up and stretched out her limbs, her slightly wet dress sticking at her chest making me swallow and look away.
‘‘Let's go and check outside!’’ she chirped as she shifted her gaze to look at me in the eye. ‘‘They are supposed to be coming over here any minute now to fetch you up...’’
‘‘Me?’’ I frowned. ‘‘What about you?’’
