I fell asleep again and the moment I woke up, the pain wasn’t as bad, but still hurt to move and even breathe. Because the pain medication was still bearable, I reasoned that it must have some impact.

I was now having trouble walking on my own; after all, my legs had taken a significant amount of damage. My muscles were knocked around and trained. I wouldn’t be surprised if my bones were also bruised.
