I ran out of the house as quickly as I could as the fire quickly spread through the house, and I listened to their screams as I did so. As I was leaving the house, tears continued to roll down my cheeks, but my knees were getting weaker, and the fire was so close to me that I could feel the blazing heat on my back and on my right leg.
I lost my balance and fell to the ground, but someone caught me and held me in their arms before I was completely knocked out of consciousness.
