(Avery’s Thoughts)
We are waiting in the lobby when a man approaches us from behind. He says something to Dmitri and I don’t even understand what is.
Then Dmitri holds my hand and I follow, “Let’s go, the chauffeur is here.”
“You’re not going to drive?” I ask.
He shakes his head, “I don’t want to drive drunk, Avery.” That’s one thing I notice with Dmitri, I’ve never seen him drive drunk. And that’s something admirable, isn’t it?
The chauffeur opens the door for us, Dmitri lets me in first, and then he follows.
