Our eyes are on you

Scott's POV

I took a sip from my smoothie. Glancing around, I took time to observe the park. A brown path ran past us and sloped at the end of the road. Tall umbrella trees lined the path, shading everyone under them. A student walked past us. His eyes were fixed on the paper in his hand. Hannah and Tristan sat next to me on a brown bench. Evening encroached, hues of purple and orange painting the sky.

"That girl was rude," Tristan said, a frown forming on his face.

"I didn't even like her." Hannah sipped her smoothie.
