I rested my forearm on the round table. Circling it was my men and the king's brother. Hali cleared his throat and stole a glance from me. I frowned and perused the room. It was a tiny one with a big round table in the middle. Light sneaked in through the two round windows at both sides.

I tapped a finger on the table. "What's taking your brother so long?"

"I'm sure he'll soon be here," Hali replied.
