Next day

Waking up this morning and sighting the bag Nate brought for me yesterday, the realization dawn on me that I haven't checked it yet.

A smile laces up my lips as I stand up sluggishly from the chair where I slept uncomfortably all through the night, and once I lay my hand on the bag, I walk back to sit in the chair. My body hurts a lot because I couldn't sleep comfortably since I had to watch over my dad that is still like a dead man. I just pray and hope things don't end up badly that he would lose his life.
