Mahnoor's POV:

The next day went to Kanwal’s house from college directly. With a miserable look on her face, Kanwal’s mother told me that she won’t stop crying and hadn’t been at anything from the morning. Worried, I rushed to my friend’s room and without any heed, I rushed in.

As I entered, Kanwal’s younger sister stood up and Salam me but Kanwal didn’t move an inch. Sitting like a sculpture on the bed, she was staring at her hands and didn’t even bother to look up at the door until I called her. 

“Kanwal?”  She finally raised her head and ran to hug me from across the room....
